This essentially consists in medium (1-2 years) and long term (>2 years) contracts to perform basic and applied research and technological development. Tier 1 companies (see Membership Structure) have non-exclusive royalty free rights to use of created IP and the possibility of acquiring exclusive rights to specific applications and/or materials upon further negotiation.

The following discounts apply over the base rates:

1. Tier 1 Partners and former CWRU academia: 25%

2. Tier 2 Partners: 15%
