The 230th Electrochemical Society (ECS) meeting was held in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 2-7, 2016. The conference was co-sponsered by the US, Korean, and Japanese electrochemical societies. Among the attendees was our own Kailash Venkatraman, who presented a talk on his work in electrochemical atomic layer deposition of copper using underpotentially deposited zinc. Dr. Akolkar was present as well, serving as a session chair and as a member of the ECS Awards and Honors Committee.
