Two INSTRON screw driven machines have recently been refurbished by Instrumet Corporation to permit tension, compression, bending, and torsion testing.  The refurbished INSTRON Model 1125 is accompanied by two INSTRON 1026 low load capacity machines.  An ATS Temperature controlled cabinet is available for testing from -125C to 200C on one of the low capacity machines, while MTS Test Works software is linked to all of the machines. Pneumatic grips as well as grips for testing wire/yarn are also available.  Load cells ranging from 100 lbs to 20,000 lbs are available as are both non-contact and contact extensometers and related grips and fixtures.
