• What has your experience been so far?

It has been perfect! I got to work on the F-35 B LiftSystem. A state of the art machinery that allows the fighter jet to vertically take off and land as well as achieving shorter regular takeoff. I had the chance to work on significant projects that achieved assembly process improvements. Had the opportunity to manage a couple of mechanics thorough the tear down process of some of the modules of the engine, performed inspections, and got to meet up with generals from the navy, coast guard as well as representatives from the USMC.

• What's your best advice for students who might be looking for a similar opportunity?

Utilize all the tools you learn at school. Being agile is crucial for this industry.
